Shipping: is normally by Xpress Post, Expedited Post or FedEx.

For Overnight FedEX,  please ADD your products to the shopping cart in order to view shipping price estimates based on your postal code and items weight and size.

For special orders, volume purchases, special shipping arrangements and items that don’t have pricing or ADD buttons, please email us

Shipping insurance is an optional extra at 1.5% of the goods value (minimum $1.00), and will not be added unless requested. If not insured, all loss in shipping is at the customer’s risk.

Signature: Insurance requires a signature on delivery. FedEx and Purolator shipments require signature from an adult at the address. Xpress Post and Expedited Post shipments may be delivered no signature, however whether or not insured, on non-signature deliveries, Canada Post’s responsibility for loss ends when the package is scanned as delivered to the door.

Delivery time: We provide estimated delivery times only, they are stated in business days, and are subject to variability due to stock availability, the shipping carrier, weather and other influences out of our direct control. Shipping estimates are for in-stock items only, otherwise the shipping time starts when the product arrives in stock here. If you need product before a certain date, please notify us in advanceWe cannot change the destination or the method of shipping after the parcel has been picked up by the carrier. We cannot guarantee a specific date or time of delivery.

Shipping method: We will usually ship by the method selected on the order form. In certain cases, we may, at our discretion, upgrade shipping from Canada Post to FedEx or Purolator at no extra cost. If you require delivery by CanadaPost only, please notate that in the Comments field of the order form.

Tracking: We send an email confirmation with your invoice copy when the parcel is shipped, including the shipping waybill number. If you have provided a non-working email address, you will not receive a confirmation. Note that we normally do not invoice in advance of shipment, so on out of stock items, your charge may not go through for several days. For special order product your credit card charge will go through in advance of shipping. Canada PostFedEx and Purolator have tracking available on their websites, but be advised that it often takes 12 – 36 hours for the waybill number to register in their system. It is not unheard of to receive the parcel before the tracking website registers the waybill.

Kingston shipments from the Kingston warehouse are by FedEx only and generally are delivered within 1-3 days – we may not get the waybill number before you receive the package.

Accuracy in addressing: We can deliver to the address of the charge card holder or the PayPal verified address of the account owner only.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address on the order form, including apartment or suite number and buzz or entry code as applicable and phone number. Please double check the address on the on-screen form and on the email confirmation(s). Note that changing the address on an online account profile does NOT retroactively correct the address on any orders already submitted.

We have no means to verify if supplied addresses are incomplete or inaccurate. In the case of a returned shipment due to an inaccurate or incomplete address, or failure of the customer to accept a shipment or to pick up an undeliverable shipment from the carriers depot, we will be charged for return shipping by the carrier and the cost of this return shipping and any redelivery shipping will be payable by the customer, including if the customer elects not to have the product redelivered. Please type any additional shipping instructions in the Comments field of the order form. Please note that delivery policies are at the discretion of the carrier, and we cannot commit to delivery only within certain hours or certain days, or phone calls in advance.

International shipping: Certified RAM will be shipped within the USA from Salem, New Hampshire and there will be no Canadian taxes. We do not ship overseas in general. Shipping to any other destinations will be decided on a case by case basis, at CanadaRAM’s sole discretion, and may be high in cost. Purchaser is the importer of record, responsible for all taxes and duties and clearing costs, and bears all risk of loss. All shipping for warranty is at the purchasers expense.

Remote and Air Stage destinations: Some remote areas, plus NU, NT and YK can be higher in shipping costs, FedEx and Purolator can be $40 and up in these areas, where available. In general, postal codes that have two Zeros it them will have higher shipping costs and may not be able to be shipped FedEx or Purolator. FedEx and Purolator cannot ship to a Box number.

Free shipping option by Canada Post Regular Lettermail – Terms and conditions: Free shipping is offered for RAM Memory and Flash Memory orders only, 200 grams or under max. 20mm thickness. Not for FBDIMMs, drives, MacPro memory or accessories. No tracking or shipping insurance is available, there are no refunds for lost or damaged shipments on the free shipping option. Once packages are picked up by CanadaPost, CanadaRAM TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOST PACKAGES WHICH ARE SHIPPED USING THIS METHOD. If you do not agree, do not choose this shipping option, choose a trackable and insurable option instead. Shipping time can vary from 2 to 15 days depending on location and weather.
